Sweet Lil Dreams Confections
These are some yummy heart cookies we decorated. I never tire of the heart shaped cookie canvas. On a similar note, this video by My Little Bakery has us inspired. She is so talented and makes it look so easy! Mrs. Sayuri is insisting that this is something she wants to try. It’s so neat […]
My mom made these pretty cupcake cookies and I insisted that she let me photograph them. I love the colors and her designs. They have a very playful look about them. Cookies or Cupcakes I can’t decide which I like better…cookies in the shape of cupcakes or actual cupcakes! It’s definitely a toss up.
Another cake cookie that my mom made. The cake shape lends itself to so many possibilities. These cookies were based on Bridget’s Anniversary cake cookies from Bake At 350. Her step-by-step tutorials are so helpful. There are tons of informative videos on the site she founded: University of Cookie.
My mom made Bridget’s (from the blog Bake at 350) pink posie cake cookies following her wonderful step by step tutorial. The posies design on these cookies is such a cute way to do a flower on a cookie. The cookies are vanilla sugar cookies with royal icing.
These cookies were also made by my mom. She was practicing the brush embroidery technique with the flowers. I love how they turned out. These are chocolate sugar cookies (recipe from Glorious Treats) with royal icing.
My mom made these cookies in December but I am just now getting around to posting about them. She was directly inspired by Glorious Treat’s beautiful pastel snowflake and holiday cookies. She has made many other cookies since so there will be more posted here when I can get them up. These are vanilla sugar […]
My mom made this beautiful gumpaste crown for Mrs. Sayuri’s fourth birthday cake. Needless to say, Mrs. Sayuri adored it. She would not hear of throwing it away until almost two weeks of it being in the fridge! I had a hard time convincing her that although it was “technically” edible, it would not be […]
