I have a really hard time throwing out old greeting cards. With each year of holidays and birthdays that goes by, my card pile grows bigger.

Today, though, that pile is a wee bit smaller! Yeah!

‘Cause… today I thought of a use for some of those cards – Recycled collage-style greeting cards

Mrs. Sayuri really enjoyed this project. Currently she is in love with cutting and gluing things! I was amazed at her precise scissor skills today while making these.

Supplies needed:

  • scissors
  • old greeting card fronts
  • glue/glue stick
  • card stock folded into card

Directions: Simply cut out graphics from greeting card fronts in desired shapes. Then glue to front of blank folded card. Put somewhere out of the way and allow to dry completely.

I think this one is my favorite. Simple, clean and beautiful.

I really like the way these turned out.

Now, what are you waiting for? Go and recycle. :)
