A Tree of Life

tree of life

“Expectancy drawn out makes the heart sick, But a longing come true is a tree of life.” - Proverbs 13:12

I recently was made aware of the world renowned wedding photographer Jasmine Star, through I Faces. Visit Interviews with Crash Taylor for an in-depth Q&A to learn more about Jasmine. Her photos are truly breathtaking. Something she stated in a video on David Jay’s website (an amazing photographer himself) really resonated with me. She said that someone once told her, at the very beginning of her career, that he would rather see her fail at something that she loved, than see her succeed at something that she hated.

Since marrying and becoming a mother, I have finally begun to feel able to start pursuing my passions and longings of my heart seriously once more.

I have begun to dream again.

Starting this blog has been the realization of one of my dreams. Hubby encouraged me, believed in me and  even customized the Thesis theme for me,  along with designing my logo and graphics! Thank you sweetie! You’re the best.

Thanks also goes to my old high school friend, Bryan Villarin. Bryan encouraged me to start something like this. Thanks Bryan for your words and your images that inspire. You can check out his photoblog, All Narfed Up here.

My mind and heart are overflowing with visions for the future.

And I will not cease to dream and create.

Ienjoy your blog so much. It is wonderful to see your creativity. That photo looks like it could be in Deposit. Mrs. Sayuri looks most precious in her piggie tales.

Yes, you have inspired me and still do. Your concert photos make me almost want to take that up again, but alas not in my reality I think. I can live vicariously through you though! :)
