I found this in one of my old poetry journals I came across the other day. It’s been forever since I tried my hand at writing verse. Reading through some of my poems made me remember how much I enjoyed it.
Little Flower
Oh little flower of purple hues,
With your petals in groups of twos.
You sing a song at first glance.
You make my eyes begin to dance.
To my face you bring a smile
Oh, be my friend for a little while.
