I came across this pleasant Scottish Proverb in a little book I received about tea and friendship. Visit often, but not too much Listen more: talk less. Be willing to help in an instant. Shun petty arguments. Avoid sarcastic humor. Guard against flattery. Pray often for one another. Give-and-take makes good friends.
