Two days ago we got some more snow! It was beautiful. The snowflakes just kept falling and piling up all day. It was soft and powdery, so not the best for sledding with a sled with metal runners on it, as they just sunk straight down to the grass/mud, but perfect for sleds like this one.
The neighbors shared this blue plastic sled with us.
Hubby pulled Baby Girl around in it for a bit and she had a lot of fun. At first she wasn’t so sure about it…
But we got a few big smiles out of her after a bit. She didn’t last much longer after this photo was taken before we called it quits for her.
She wasn’t quite sure what to make of the snow, since it was her first time truly experiencing it. She was so bundled up that I would imagine it was hard for her to try doing much with it anyway.
Mr. Happy Feet made a few snow angels. Although they were hard to see, he was pretty excited about making them!
The children (mainly the two older ones) spent the majority of that day outside. They told me they loved snow and never wanted to come inside again! That’s how much they enjoyed it.
We still have patches of snow out in the yard today but it hasn’t snowed since when I took these photos (2 days ago). We’ve got predictions of snow for tomorrow or the next day – so we’ll see. I know some little people who would be thrilled if those came true.
Love the photos.
